Very nice campground! Sites were very well maintained and staff and volunteers were very helpful. No leveling required on our site. Beach was very nice.

Best campsites I've ever seen.....large & private. Our family has had an annual camping trip here for the last 3 years. Clean, beautiful park. A very fun, unique golf course, 'The Gravel Pit' is just 1-1/2 mi away.

We like coming to Gull Lake Recreation Area. The campground is small, yet the sites we've stayed at are spacious. There is some road noise, but, it has never been too loud.
We enjoy walking to the lake and hiking the short trail that is there. Sunsets over the lake are beautiful.
It's also nice that it is close to Brainerd and Nissan, as well as, the Paul Bunyan Trail, which is a fun bike trail to ride.
