Gull Lake Recreation Area is highly praised for its well-maintained, spacious campsites with good tree coverage, providing privacy and comfort. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like biking, swimming, and fishing. While mosquitoes can be a nuisance, overall experiences are positive, with many campers planning to return.

The young ranger that greeted us and check us in at our site was very professional. personable and helpful. The site itself was very well kept and level. The entire campground was clean and litter free. We did not use any facilities but did walk to the dam and the lake. Those areas were also well kept and clean. We had a nice experience at this ACE park.

Very nice COE campgrounds, clean bathhouse, gravel sites. We had two different sites Site #4 sits very low with all the rain they received it was only about 3 ft from the gravel site, the other site was #22 pull thur on top of a small hill. This park is only 7 mi from the town of Baxter and Brainard with everything you would need. The only thing the park ranger told me was that Crow county is known for its' deer ticks, so bring Deet. Happy camping!
