We were in a spot with no shade during most of the day. We finally moved the table to the far side and were able to get a little shade. We won't go to that campsite again.

Gull Lake Recreation Area is highly praised for its well-maintained, spacious campsites with good tree coverage, providing privacy and comfort. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like biking, swimming, and fishing. A beautiful campground that is beautifully run. The campsites are the cleanest and most well kept of any we have stayed in the entire country. My highest praise to the staff and volunteers.

Very nice campground. Had electricity and a dump station. You do have to buy your weeks from them or have certified wood. The campsite was very clean and groomed. Camp hosts are helpful and friendly. Was quiet the night we were there and it was very full. Did not enjoy the lake and area, as only traveling through for the night. Hope to go back in the future and stay longer.

We stayed at site #23. A lovely spot - love the sense of privacy at the spots. This is our second trip to the campground. We will be back next year!!!
