Beautiful Park. It was great to find some where for the 4th of July. We had to move a couple of times to stay the length time we wanted and it was just fine. Thankful for the park

We had a great experience at the Gull Lake Recreation Area. The staff was on top of everything, all the facilities were in great condition and the campsites themself were level and well cared for by the staff. It was much better than State Parks and Commercial Campgrounds. The staff should be proud of the great service they provide.

The campground was kept up beautifully, The restrooms & showers were clean & the staff & volunteers were friendly & helpful. The campsites are not too close together & have enough vegetation between to give some privacy. Nice level, graveled sites made set up easy. My only complaint was the bumper crop of mosquitoes. My poor dog would sniff something & come up with a dozen or so mosquitoes on her snout. I'd probably come back for a stay in the future, but maybe I'd pick a different time of year.

The campgrounds, shower house, restrooms, beach and fishing areas are well maintained and clean. The staff are friendly. We were greeted at our site when we arrived and welcomed with our parking pass and campground information. I was very impressed. This is more interaction and information than we have received at private campgrounds costing twice as much per night.
a heads up to fellow campers. The roads are tight around the dump station/potable water and dumpsters. Take your time, plan your turns and route. It helps to walk ahead. We have a crew cab, 7' box pulling a 35' travel trailer and made it just fine. Just take your time if you have a longer rig.
