Cross lake is so beautiful! Sites are spacious! Park is well cared for. We only saw maybe 6 mosquitoes the whole time we were there. Once you set up you literally would not have to get in your vehicle until you’re heading home. Everything is in walking distance of the park. We are going back in September

Cross Lake Army Corps of Engineers Campground has been a favorite of ours for over 40 years. The lakes are beautiful and the local shops provide for anything you might forget.
We also appreciate the office staff. They are excellent at meeting all your needs.
The only downside are the new boat docks. The concept of preserving the bay shoreline is great, but the height of the docks make it next to impossible to climb out of a runabout or fishing boat. It is set at the height for pontoon boaters to walk straight across from their decks. We noticed how few boats were tied to these docks as compared to the previous time when they were beached. Is it possible to change out some of the high docks for docks at water level?

Excellent help, nice site. Some sites are a little difficult to get into for large, sizeable RV or trailers (i.e. trees, rocks, tight corners. The campground is very well maintained, clean and pleasant people

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease.
