This campground is the best campground we stay here a couple times a year. It’s a little tight for those of us with large fifth wheels so not the place for inexperienced backers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to your campground.
The sites were a great size, the campground hosts were super friendly and helpful, and it is very well maintained.
We did a little sightseeing, went thrift store shopping and ate at Andy's across the road (amazing food).
We also enjoyed the anniversary celebration at the Ace Hardware and the great little grocery store.
We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic girls weekend at this campsite. The volunteer on duty did an absolutely amazing job at assisting me with backing a 22’ long fish house into our lot. I was extremely impressed with his communication skills when directing me. Truly a gem!

We had a nice experience at Cross Lake Recreation Area. Late season camping was cool but still enjoyable. Took a walk around the old Historic Village across the road.

Enjoyed the walking paths inside the campground. Enjoyed seeing the dam. Enjoyed visiting the local Goodwill, Rafferty's and the Lake Country Crafts & Cones (the ice cream serving was so large). The campsites were large. The restrooms were kept clean.

Pavement was nice. Rained all night which puddled at door to camper. Always stepping out in water. Bombed by acorns. So we left after one night instead of staying the whole reservation.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease.
