New loon peoples floating docks are not handicapped accessible, have no railings, no handles, no life preserver to throw, tie down cleats are 24 ft. Apart, my small fishing boat is 12ft. And the next cleats is 12 ft . away and how am I supposed to reach that..also built for pontoons which are longer and higher, when I stand up the dock is level with my chin and cannot possibly climb out of my boat at 81 year's old..but when I complained to the park rangers they all laughed and said DON'T TALK to me about it, THE LOON PEOPLE PAID FOR IT ALL, SO ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM..REALLY?

Great location. Nice lake, bathrooms and showers were clean Sites were a good size although no privacy. Hosts were friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Getting water was a challenge though- the spickets were oddly located.

Absolutely great campground for families wanting access to a lake and small town for entertainment. Bathrooms/showers aren't the best if you're looking for modern clean amenities. Sites are wooded and clean.

This campground is a real jewel located in central Minnesota. The sites are spacious, the access roads are like new, and the amenities are modern and clean.
The beach is great for kids, and the playground equipment is fine.
The mosquitos were not bad, not were the flies. No rodents or raccoons.
The campground volunteer hosts patrol the area during early evening hours to make sure it doesn't get to noisy. Everyone seems to respect quiet hours.
This is by far out favorite campground.
The is plenty to do within walking distance.
