Excellent facility. Small shops and gas station across the street if you forgot anything. The lake is beautiful. Friendly people, and decent space in between sites. Would come again!

Again, such a wonderful campground, booking is a conditional situation , many campers and RV’er’s have blocked out weekends (3,4,5 and 6 Months prior/) you are at the mercy of their possible cancellation(s). Keep scanning with crossed fingers… don’t drop one… it’s easy and frustrating but sites do open… keep looking. Hopes of ACoE expanding WiFi coverage to more campsite areas (Crosslake lakeside) after all it is 2022 and the majority of RVer’s and campers use the internet… business, home, search, security monitoring when away. Hot spotting from data plans become costly…smart TV’s are most popular, yet need a WiFi signal.
Dockage upgrade is just beautiful, high quality, many more secure boat slips… no more limited beaching… great upgrade= $1.5+ Million of yes… expand the WiFi= $500+ easy, Really would be nice.

Very nice campground but it’s ran by the worst people! Don’t bring your pets cause they don’t like them. They yell at you for your dogs not being on a leash as they are laying down sleeping. They come on your site to tell you to leash your dog when the dogs don’t even pay attention to them. When they are the reason your dogs wake up and then tell you your dogs bed to be chained up cause they are loose, you know they have nothing better to do. I get the rules but when dogs are sleeping not on leash leave them be. Worst camp ground I have ever been to. I will tell everyone I know not to come to this place. A lot better campgrounds around this area.

Love Crosslake campground but this year was different. Evidently the bathroom cleaners had quit with no replacement. We we there 11 nights and if our camper had larger tanks I wouldn’t have even used the campground bathrooms. The out houses were cleaner. They bathhouses were disgusting, even running out of toilet paper.

Crosslake is one of our favorite places to camp! The people are friendly and helpful, the fishing is awesome, and the lake is fun for everyone.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease. Closure* The Campground will close 15-OCT-2026 for the remainder of the season. This includes all dump stations, all restrooms, and water spigots. At this time, the main boat ramp is expected to remain available throughout October. |
