When reservations were made, we took the last site available. 2 days before our scheduled stay, we looked online and found many sites available and were able to switch to a site with full hookups. The campground was very quiet, during the 5 days we stayed, thus making it a very relaxing experience. We enjoyed walking and biking around town, checking out the shops. Of course, we had to visit the ice cream shop, Lake Country Crafts and Cones, at least once. A must go, place to eat, is Moonlite Bay. We enjoyed eating out on the deck. The waiters were very friendly and the service was great!

This is our favorite campground and try to camp here every summer - this year we booked in June and July. Love this campground. The only complaint I have is that the women's bathroom (older building) was very hot and stuffy - like a vent was not open for fresh air. After showering, all the mirrors would stay fogged up for quite some time. Would also like to see the bathrooms a bit cleaner. Otherwise, I am looking forward to coming back in July!

We love Cross Lake campground but one of the big draws is the playground and nice kids who come to it. Unfortunately someone ran into the playground by the main road into Cross Lake this winter and destroyed it. A huge disappointment to our grandson, even though there is a second playground (that one is very small with far less equipment to play on). Really hoping that the playground is rebuilt soon! Lots of money spent on the new docks which are very nice but not everyone has boats....

Campground is amazing! Love this campground, the Crosslake area and my family ALWAYS has a good time here. The reservation help line and reservations in general is not very good. struggled to make reservations. had to call the help line to change them. Lady seemed very friendly and helpful. then when we finally arrived. we somehow had no reservations except one day and nobody could help or do anything for us. Park is amazing, cleanliness is amazing, staff and volunteers are amazing. But reservations, checking reservations, and assisting in making reservations is poor

We loved our camping experience at Crosslake, as usual, except for the new boardwalk boat docks. They are so high that it is very hard to get into & out of our boat.

With the glaring exception of the terrible fish cleaning shack, there is no better campgrounds in Minnesota; this one has it all!👍👌

We always enjoy our time at this park. We find plenty to do while we are there. We enjoy fishing on the lake and walking in the park. The staff has always been helpful. Being close to town has many eating and shopping opportunities if that is what you are looking for.
