My wife and I were grateful to be able to sneak into this idyllic place on the last weekend of the camping season. Only 10 bucks a night for two nights' stay after applying our Senior Pass -- what a bargain! The weather was cool but otherwise perfect, with the trees in the campground and around the lake still sporting golden foliage in the fall sunshine, with a beautiful cloud-dotted pale blue sky hovering overhead. Refreshing to both body and soul! Loved that the place is so flat -- minimal fuss with leveling the trailer. 5 Stars, hands down!

I wish it was easier to obtain a weekend reservation. I've had 5 RV/electric campsites since mid-August-October and was the last one to leave at closing. Total enjoyment, friendly staff, and Rangers. I give 5 stars to 'ALI' the Ranger for her kind help and assistance, I could not start my RV [dead battery] on the closing day, with her assistance we got it out. Looking forward to the Spring, I'll be back!

Very clean campground. We loved it!!!
Sites are large and spaced out.
Close enough to town to be able to bike or walk.
We really enjoyed our 3 days.

This was our first time camping at Crosslake. I found this park to be an incredible stay. We knew the park was closing down but we didnt experience any problems and the park personnel were very helpful and kept us informed about water line access and dump site alternatives. The campground supervisor is a wonderful and professional young lady. She was most helpful in securing my reservation. We will definitely be returning next year.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease.
