First rate campground. Nice having town nearby but do not notice the bustle of a town. Beaches, launches and walking areas were very well maintained. Staff very helpful. Only negative is there needs to be site maps available. Hard to find some sites.

I loved my stay. I met great people and had fun. I wish I had known how close to the highway I was at site 99 as it got fairly loud at times. A sign is needed at the boat ramp parking area telling people that they need to unhook boat trailers and park both in regular spots. I didn't and just assumed you just parked sideways. Luckily it wasn't very busy and didn't take away any spaces from anyone else. I found the people of Crosslake to very nice and hospitable. I will be going back there next year a few times. It is a great chain of lakes for boating, there are plenty of places to get out of the wind which is common for MN.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease.
