This is a beautiful campground, but the rangers and staff could benefit from some customer service training. We have been camping for several years and have never dealt with employees who were so rude.

Large campsites, clean facilities, helpful staff. Loved having the boat ramp and a place to beach the boat so we didn’t need to trailer it every day. Close to everything (gas station, cute shops, restaurants). Firewood available on site was really handy. Loved the activities for kids (scavenger hunt, bingo, two playgrounds). Family friendly. Great time!

We had a fabulous 4 nights the last week of August in site #20 with a great view of the lake and sunsets. It can be a little busy in that location (along the road to the beach area) but the view made it totally worth it. Plus, we were there Sun-Thurs so the campground was not full. Weekends could be a lot different regarding peace & quiet. It's a short walk to the town of Crosslake with a great grocery store, shops and restaurants. We'll be back!

Sites are always very clean and the staff knowledge and friendliness is a plus. The best thing about this location is that the sites are very spacious and you do not feel like you are right on top of your neighbors.

We have a 36ft fifth wheel trailer and it is very difficult to maneuver into some of the spots because of the trees and big rocks that are too close to the road and I can't swing the pickup once the trailer starts turning.
