Even though the campground is close to the busy road/town, it still felt like you were camping. Great spot for being on the lake and being able to walk through town.

This is such a great park. The sites are large enough to play games and sit around the camper without disturbing the camper next to you. A great place to bring the family. Lots for the kids to do.

Great swimming beach for kids and Grampa. Fun to bike ride around park and into Crosslake. Close to stores and an awesome ice cream shoppe. You will not be disappointed.

Comfort stations are excellent and well maintained. Moonlight bay is a must see.

Need to move some site marker posts and post bumpers back to make it easier to back into some sites. Also need somewhere to park a boat for campers with a triple hitch while they are dumping that can't make the turn with them all hooked together.

Very nice, large campground on Crosslake. The only negative is the shower building cleanings: they are very first thing in the morning from when people are just getting up and need to use the facilities, and maybe take a shower, then again from 4-6 in the evening, when people are getting ready to clean up from the day. Most campgrounds clean not before late morning, or early afternoon. Seems like a poor choice.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease. Closure* The Campground will close 15-OCT-2026 for the remainder of the season. This includes all dump stations, all restrooms, and water spigots. At this time, the main boat ramp is expected to remain available throughout October. |
