Love park - keep improving - there is one ranger that doesn’t seem friendly - hope that improves over time since think that is important for park and kids - all others great! Would like to see showers redone - tile is bad and lots of mold - better than it was last year - need place to unhook boats and cars from RVs and trailers - took it all away when they put in place to charge cars bringing in boats - need to keep both areas for dumping - one location near Check in leans wrong way and is hard to get out of due to not enough room to turn out for really big RVs when there are people coming in - bigger problems with some of this in busy months of July and August - please don’t put round about in in front of park because it would be VERY difficult for RVs and trailers to get in and out of park - it was very obvious it would not work in Crosslake when we saw the one they had in Deerwood a few years ago - otherwise, great park, great job rangers and volunteers are doing !!

Weather was great - the facilities were clean and taken care of. This is a boating Mecca so bring a boat and have a blast. The kids love to ride bikes at this park as there are trails all over. The playgrounds are very safe and fun for all ages. Oh and put your fire out before you go to bed or expect a knock on your trailer or tent : )

THE BEST public campground ever. 120 BIG sites, trees, pull your boat up on shore, walk across the street to restaurants/groceries and modern baths/showers.

This was our big trip when I was a kid. Fast forward 35 years, and it's still as special as I remember it. Super people, clean facilities, level campsites, ice cream cones as big as your head within walking distance...what more can you ask for??
