Unable to get rv into site 38. Nobody to help guide. They would not refund or change sites because I was checked into site 38. So they did an early check out and we returned home.

Campsites are large and clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Lots of things to see and do in the area besides fishing. Great places to eat.

The man checking us in was sooo slooow ! Showed in great detail how to put the camp slip on the post. Really.?
Set the stage for a disappointing camp.
The pier is so short for fishing.
Overall Corps of engineering typical camp.
A camper driving his pickup and boat right in the mid of the drive wouldn’t mover, causing me to fall off my bike hurting my knee. He yelled at me. I’m 70 years old. Still black and blue.

This was our first time at this campground. It was clean, quiet, campsites are roomy, and restrooms/showers were well take care of. We will definitely go back!

Renovated bathrooms great except not much room to close door in stall in ladies due to larger toilets - difficult -
Place we used to unhook car or boat is now no parking and no real good place to do that is available now ... will be blocking people now unfortunately (for short time)
Dumping station near check in is difficult for big RVs to turn to go out due to new pay station location
Missing door on a shower stall in Men’s restroom since fall of 2020
One of the better campgrounds we’ve been in ...
Volunteers are all doing a great job ! Park is looking better and better ... Showers have been very clean this year and free of mold !
Thank you !

We booked site 31 - I would say almost every site at this campground is good with redeeming qualities except this one. It is the smallest, no views, right across from the vault toilets. It should actually be "reforested" and removed.
Thankfully, the folks at Way of the Wilderness were very helpful and the setting is the greatest! Lakes, canoe trips, hiking, definitely check out Voyageurs Outfitters and watch people leaving for their journeys! Check out Chik-Wauk center and hike to the top of Blueberry Hill for a great view! There are small trails down to the rapids/water between the campsites - take advantage!
