This COE campground is located on Cross Lake with easy access to stores within walking distance across the street. Most sites are gravel but all are level and secluded. Bath house is clean and well maintained. Boat ramp can get busy, but there are two of them for the campground. If you have a boat, this chain of 11 lakes will more than keep you entertained. The area has restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. Reservations are required and can be difficult to get during the summer season.

We’ve stayed here years ago in tents and have visited frequently via boat and car ever since. Great location. Lots to see and visit from lakeshore drives to restaurants and breweries. Sites are spacious. We had one of a few full hookup sites but wouldn’t have needed it.

Great place in the fall! Less people. Bike trail around the lake and around Manhattan beach was very nice.

Click here for more information 14-Day Stay LimitTo ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy our campsites, please be aware of our 14-day camping policy.Camping at any of our sites is limited to a maximum of 14 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.This rule is in accordance with official regulation CFS 327.7(b). An extension may only be granted with written permission from the District Commander.Please be aware that violations may result in the cancellation of reservations or removal from the campground.America The Beautiful PassesWe proudly accept America The Beautiful passes. To ensure fair use, please remember:The pass may only be used for the single campsite you are actively occupying.Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared with friends or family for other sites.If a pass is used for multiple sites simultaneously, it will be invalidated, and the full camping fee for the additional site(s) will be charged.Cross Lake Recreation Area has additional rules including but not limited to:* Firewood restrictions are in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and disease. Click here for more information * ATV/UTV and Golf Cart operation within the campground is not allowed. * All vehicles and camping equipment must fit on the campsite.
