The campground itself is quiet and beautiful! We spent a lot of time fishing on the dock and caught a little northern, bass and lots of sunnies! The outhouses are clean and are in good locations around the campground. The forest road to get to the campground is a 20ish minute drive off of scenic highway, so it felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere. Scenic state park is nearby, and you can rent kayaks and canoes for really cheap! Would highly recommend!

Campsites are all non electric and situated in the tall pines of the Chippewa National Forest. I went early in the season when there were very few campers, I loved the peace and quiet! Winds were high during this trip but I’ve had good luck fishing from my kayak on previous visits. Camp host were phenomenal, friendly and incredibly helpful; they know the park very well and we shared stories of the beautiful fox mama that we saw strolling through the forest. I really love this park I just wish it had a couple of sites open in the winter. Great experience!

Campground was very well maintained. Nice campsites. We were there mid week in June and had the entire campground to ourselves.

Campground was quiet. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Fishing off the pier yielded a lot of bass, Northerns, and sunnies. We loved the location. We will definitely be back. The store in Marcell is only 10 minutes away for firewood, bait, and ice.

Very nice clean place to stay for camping. Camp hosts do a wonderful job with keeping up with camp sites by raking after each guest stay. Camp host accommodation for moving camp sites was very appreciative by a guest that picked wrong from map selection. Clubhouse Lake is incredibly clean for swimming and nice beach area for small children.
