Mosomo Point is a fantastic campground with large, private sites and excellent water access, making it ideal for canoeing. The weekend portion of the stay was a bit noisy with high occupancy at the campground but by Sunday afternoon it cleared out and was very peaceful. We explored several of the Simpson Creek trails near the campground as well as the Lost 40 scientific area location in the area. There was some road noise but not too bad.

We loved it. We hammock camped at #15, we had multiple options for setting up our hammocks. We had a flying squirrel that was quite bold and curious about our things around camp including our hammocks. I feel like it should be a given not leave any food out if you are not right next to it, I still want to reenforce it though. I'm sure the little guy would have gotten to something if we had left things out.

This primitive campground is super for boat access, fishing, and friendliness. It is on a channel that connects Little Cutfoot to Big Winnie. There are big and small sites. Wood is available to buy. There is no swimming beach. The campground is raked, well kept, always stocked and very clean! The Hosts are among the Best! Always there, super friendly, accommodating and fun people. Primitive but everything you’d want in an outdoor camping experience 👍

My family has been going here for over 60 years. Normally we make it up 3 or 4 times each srason now, used to be more. The fishing isn't as good but the hiking trails are pretty nice now.
