Loved the seclusion and privacy of all the campsites. Very clean bathrooms, and well maintained campground. Rowing and fishing on the lake was amazing in late July.

Fall Lake was exceeded our expectations of a federal campground. 4 attributes stuck out:
1. The bathrooms were extra clean
2. The firepit was spotless
3. The beach was quaint and fun and full of families
4. The host baked blueberry cake and chocolate brownie bombs for everybody. She even stopped by our site with the recipe.
We almost don't want to go back because it was so perfect the first time.

Quiet and private sites, rented canoes from campground office, paddle to the falls and swim for a half day trip. Big wooded mostly electric sites, very peaceful. Water fill at office, dump station in Ely 5 mi away at visitor center.

The volunteer staff at this campground are phenomenal. From keeping the grounds and the bathrooms extra clean to making sure that others are not too loud as to ruin everyone's right to solitude.
