Absolutely loved the spot. Quiet, right next to the lake, and close proximity to Ely and all it had to offer. Bathrooms were clean, fire grate was great for grilling, and the trees were just starting to change colors. Folks with kids, be advised, site 8 does have stairs and ledges so extra attention needed. Will be back again!

This is a lovely, relatively small campground near the Boundary Waters. We like site #2 because it is flat, relatively close to the biffies and is quite private. The biffies are clean and there is a nice swimming area. About the only downside of this campground is that there aren't any services.

Great site and very close to Widgiwagan if you have kiddos out on their own adventure. 007 is superb.

Beautiful lake, campground and site. The walk to the site was longer than I expected. We definitely got our steps in!

#12 site.
Ok site, secluded from other sites.
A trek from parking space to campsite and an ungroomed steep, rocky path to the lake from that campsite (I'm sure it's not meant to be maintained by the park).
Cabins across the lake were kind of annoyingly loud (not all night).
If you want an awesome site with great view on a granite outcropping pick #7. It's a long trek from the parking spot to the site and a decline but worth the view (just pack lighter).
Fishing-don't plan on catching a lot. The regular campers even said so.
Overall, I won't return to this lake because of the trek up and down to the campsites by the lake front sites.
Plenty of other lakes to try!!
