Fenske Lake is perfect for us. A few cabins (as well as us campers) on one end of this long narrow lake, but then you feel like you are in the BWCA. Check out the carnivorous pitcher plants and sundew near the beaver lodge if you go all the way to the end of the lake chain.
Bathrooms were maintained at an exceptionally high level. Nice work, campground manager!

Love the campground. Love the fishing pier, swimming area, landing, campsites are awesome. Love the loop of road to walk. Love the clean bathrooms!!!

Bathrooms were very clean! Campsite was completely picked up and ready for us to use. Campground host was very friendly and inviting. The Fenske Campground and Ely area is amazing. Hiked the Bass Lake trail and paddle to the pictographs on Hegman Lake.

From Ely, Minnesota, travel east on State Highway 169 North (toward Winton) for about 1 mile. Turn left onto County Road 88 and travel about 2 miles. Turn right onto Echo Trail and continue about 7 miles to the campground entrance on the right.
