Lot #29 - Great location, caught Smallmouth from the lake just down the trail from my campsite! Bathrooms and showers were clean and very well maintained!

About Fall Lake
Fall Lake Campground is located on the shores of Fall Lake and provides direct access into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). The campground opens in early May in time for walleye fishing season, making it a popular place for anglers. Others are drawn to Fall Lake for its birding, swimming, hiking and boating opportunities.
Superior National Forest, located in northeastern Minnesota's arrowhead region, is comprised of 3 million acres. The forest spans 150 mi along the United States-Canada border.

We stayed in site #24. Nice site. Private most of the sites are. The woods take away not all but part of the view. Bathrooms were fairly clean. Good showers. Would come again.

Beautiful location, private sites, great bathroom/shower buildings, friendly camp ground hosts who do well at keeping the grounds and buildings clean all add up to our “excellent” rating. Never mind the nightly loon calls and beautiful daytime birdsong.
