Great campground. Lot of space between sites. Well maintained, beautiful campground. Friendly staff. The only downside is that they don't have a dump station in the park.

Fall Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and clean facilities, making it a favorite among campers. Many appreciate the private, wooded areas and proximity to hiking trails and the city of Ely. Some minor issues were reported, including occasional odors and the need for a nearby dump station, but overall, visitors enjoy returning to this peaceful and scenic campground.

What a beautiful park, great campsites, and lovely lake area. If you are arriving after the park office is closed, call ahead for the key code to the bathrooms. Otherwise, you won't be able to use them... speaking from experience. ;)

We try to stay at Fall Lake every year in September. At that time of year it is our favorite Minnesota campground. Canoeing, fishing, grouse hunting, and leaf peeping along with an afternoon in Ely are always on our calendar of things to do.
