Fall Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and clean facilities, making it a favorite among campers. Many appreciate the private, wooded areas and proximity to hiking trails and the city of Ely. Some minor issues were reported, including occasional odors and the need for a nearby dump station, but overall, visitors enjoy returning to this peaceful and scenic campground.

This is a great park with access to BWCA via day permits that can be done right at the boat landing for the day you need it. Each campsite seems private with lots of wooded area and many with easy access or view of Fall Lake. The camp works are very friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much we extended our stay. There is NOT a dump station though and we could not find the one in Ely; only frustrating part of our trip.
Went hiking, canoeing, fishing and biking. Although, there are no bike trails but the roadside seemed safe with only 7-8 mi to Ely (less to Winton).

Large sites, nicely spaced apart with lots of trees in between. Nice places to walk along roads and there are some trails, as well. Nice bathrooms with shower. Water available throughout areas in campground. Can fill up your tank at office area. We did have electric and but need to take camper to dump station in Ely, about 6 mi away. The lake is really pretty with lots of areas to get down to shoreline. We enjoyed the whole area. Found a nice waterfall not too far away (about 3 mi driving) that was a pretty easy hike to get to. Would certainly go back again.

The campground and bathrooms were very clean. It was a nice quiet campground with lots for my 2yo to do. Between the paved roads and the playground we were out and about constantly exploring. The campground hosts even had fun scavenger hunts for kids. We spent a lot of time looking for yellow pine cones. We found one our last full day and we weren’t sure our little one was going to let us leave without finding it a second time. The campground is also very close to Ely which also has a great park. There were lots of kids staying at the campground for our son to play with.
