Fall Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and clean facilities, making it a favorite among campers. Many appreciate the private, wooded areas and proximity to hiking trails and the city of Ely. Some minor issues were reported, including occasional odors and the need for a nearby dump station, but overall, visitors enjoy returning to this peaceful and scenic campground.

This campground surpassed any and all expectations I might have had. This was our first experience in the Boundary Waters and it offered a perfect launch for a beginner canoe trip. The facilities were spotless and meticulously maintained, the campsites were gorgeous and private with amazing fire pits and lakeside access points. And the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. We needed our car jumped two mornings in a row and they were more than accommodating. We will absolutely be back!

The BWCA is a beautiful place and Fall Lake Campground is a perfect location for us. We have an RV and are older and like that we have sites with electricity. The campground is perfectly situated to take day trips into the BWCA or into Ely. They have canoes for rent too which makes it so much easier than hauling ours with us.
