Beautiful campground with very clean well designed showers. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. Kudos to all members of staff! There is a small "mart" just across steet from entrance for groceries & things.

The entire campground was extremely well maintained. Some of the sites are kind of close to the neighboring sites but everything quieted down very well by 10 PM. There are some outhouse type buildings that had a lot of odor, but the main buildings with showers and toilets were in great condition. The fishing cleaning building is top drawer. Mosquitoes can be bad at low light periods if there isn't a breeze. Come prepared to fend them off.

We had an excellent stay over the long Fourth of July weekend. Our pad was quite level and wide enough for our camper and a bug tent. Quite a few people fit their camper, a boat, and a bug tent on their pad. All the spots seem to be well maintained and the facilties were clean. I noticed the caretakers going in to sweep and rake after people vacated. I was very impressed with the care! It is a quiet campground, too, which we appreciated. There is a volleyball area, playground, basketball court, and horseshoe pits. There weren't any trailheads nearby, but it seems like most people go here for the fishing. There is a decent sized marina area (I don't fish, so I don't know the lingo) by the water for lake access and boat trailer parking, plus a restroom and fish cleaning station by the marina area. That is where you can buy wood. There is a pile of wood with a drop box for payment by the place that rents boats. It was $7 a bundle when we were there and they even had a little wagon to borrow. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place for you!

Be prepared for deer flies and mosquitoes. The cleanliness and up keep of the camp ground is the best I've ever seen or experienced. They do an awesome job taking care of this place.
