Our Hostess Pat was amazing! We'd purchased another Senior America the Beautiful Pass from a new ranger at the last park. Pat saw our handicap sticker and husband's Navy hat and asked if he had a Navy disability and he does. She said the ranger should have given us the military service disability pass for free. It has really helped with fees and camping. We'd been at Mable Creek a lovely site but our new camper's solar equipment didn't charge our battery and we were barely able to close it up. Our refrigerator wasn't working. A couple had to leave early so we hurried and got our reservation in on the site. It was across from bathroom and shower facilities plus laundry. We had just put our laundry in the dryer wand it started pouring. Pat rushed down to tell us and other campers about the storm. To go to the showers if wind got to strong. about 15 minutes later the whole campground lost power. We pulled out clothes out and dryer them the next morning. Pat and her husband were wonderful and very helpful. Offered to bring their hose to fill our camper with water since ours wasn't long enough. Fortunately we had plenty of water. They have served as hosts for 23 years. They deserve an award for their kindness and the campground is pristine.

The volunteers (Alice & Pete) along with the host Pat where very accommodating, friendly and made us feel welcomed. The site was very clean and spacious. There was enough mosquitos to serve both breakfast and dinner but that comes with being back to nature and we were able to deal with it. :).
