We had a great week camping! The campsites were spacious, and having 50-amp electric was a huge bonus. Everything was very clean, and the camp hosts were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer our questions.
We also have to give a shoutout to The Big Fish Supper Club in Bena—the food was absolutely amazing and definitely worth the visit!
Our only complaint was the lack of a designated swimming area. It was pretty hot during our stay, and unless you had a boat or pontoon to get out on the water, there wasn't really a place to cool off.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider coming back!

I ended up stopping here on my road trip as a last minute change due to the wildfire smoke so ended up arriving around 730 PM. The campground host was really on top of things and swung by my site with all the check-in items shortly after my arrival. Clean bathrooms and showers, a nature trail, and a day use area right on the water. The only reason for not being four stars is the tent camping location. The tent sites are away from the RV sites which is great but the location is right next to the road and dump station. Still a nice tent camping spot and the price is really good for all that your getting at this recreation area.
