Each year in September a few musical families in the area rent a weekend time to gather near each other. We have two nights of music and each year it grows. This year we had 5 sites rented and had a wonderful time. Fall fishing in Minnesota and touring the beautiful lake is a bonus!!!

Lovely park and sites are quite nice with space between them. Staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. One of the ladies even got my husband a new card for Seniors as it was becoming very worn. Very clean and was very nice to be able to eave our boat close to our campsite. Will be back this coming summer for sure.

This is truly a fine place to go camping. With hot showers, laundry facilities, and a fish cleaning house, the campground is well outfitted. We loved it so much, we made another trip a month later.

One of the cleanest and most peaceful places I know to spend time. Beautiful sunsets, beautiful lake, all very clean and very well-kept, including bathroom, showers and laundry facilities.
I always leave a few logs for the next campers, and I know a lot of people who do that. I have been quite dismayed at this campground though, because almost every time I’ve been up there, one of the camp “hosts” or “volunteers” has come over and cleaned out the wood left by the previous campers after I was already on the site! Not cool! That’s the only thing I would change. (Dude, you know who you are!)

My husband and I first stay at Leech Lake was a great experience. From checking in to our leaving was at ease. After checking in, my husband was able to unhook our boat from our fifth wheel and leave it in the parking lot until we got our fifth wheel set up. Then with plenty of room in our site we were able to fit both truck and boat. Enough privacy between the sites with gorgeous trees. We loved it so much we made Leech Lake our first camping area for 2020.
