Beautiful sites with views of
the Mississippi River - love being by the water. Nice clean showers. The only negative is how close it is to the busy highway and constant traffic noise. Train tracks are right there too, but not constant.

First of all, love camping with the COE. The view from our site was super great. (site #5) In the early morning when the bright sun made the trees reflect in the water was a Kodak moment. Pokegama is one of our favorites and the restrooms were neat and clean. We enjoyer our fall stay. though only 5 days this time, we plan on longer stays next year. We spent early mornings and evenings in camp, but drove most of the days looking at fall leaves and exploring roads north. We camped late September in an A-frame camper by Aliner. P.S. The trains and highway traffic were NOT a problem ! We came to enjoy life, and we did. Don & Dianne L.

Campsite was beautiful, very well kept. My brother and I are riding our bikes from the Canadian border to the gulf of Mexico. We are trying to use campgrounds where we can. There was only one issue and that was the 4:55 AM train that cam through. The bike (tent) camping is only about 50 feet from the tracks. That would not stop us from staying there again, though.
