Being able to extend our stay on line was helpful as we had vehicle breakdown and needed to stay longer waiting for our vehicle to be fixed at the dealership.

This is a wonderful campground. Right on the Mississippi. Nice playground and hiking trails and fishing Piers. The place shower room was very clean. This is a park that I take my grandkids to to play on the playground. Wanted to give them a camping experience and it could not have been better. Nice yard space so our grandson could play baseball with a friend he met there. We were in the handicap parking area. It was so nice. We had a blacktop area and the bathrooms were right next to us. Can’t say enough good things about the place.

We were in Site 7. There are several good sites at Pokegama, but for our 30 ft camper we feel sites 5,6,7 are probably our favorites. We come here for the convenience as it's located close to Tioga Mountain Biking. Also just a short drive to Chisholm so we can ride at Redhead. The highway noise from highway 2 and the railroad might be a turnoff for some, but the convenient location and cleanliness of this campground outweigh those issues for us. If I were to make a suggestion, I'd suggest the rangers jump on the kids on the e-bike racing up and down the road through the campground. That's really my only concern and it's for safety reasons. The speed limit in the campground is 10 mph and they were far exceeding that. Cell service in site 7 (verizon) was rather limited, but our starlink dish worked pretty well. Overall a pleasant weekend. This was our 3rd summer coming here and we plan to be back next year. Good work!

While the campground was perfect for RVs, we were a little challenged with our tent. The bathroom and showers were well maintained and cleaned regularly. The setting overlooking the Mississippi River was very nice. The highway noise is a little intrusive.
