Pokegama Dam Campground is praised for its cleanliness, spacious sites, and well-maintained facilities, including bathrooms and showers. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the river, as well as the helpful staff and convenient access to hiking trails and nearby amenities. So much to see and do in the Grand Rapids area. Great shopping and the Rief Center always has something going on.

All was very good. Some RVers by us left their hoses connected to the water hydrants for their entire stay. Aren't the hydrants for temporary use? Like filling a vessel or tank and then being disconnected for others to use.

We have camped at this beautiful, shady, spacious, well kept CoE campground many times on our way to the north shore of Lake Superior. The location is lovely along the peaceful, meandering Mississippi River. Rest rooms and showers are always clean. Dump station is convenient and well maintained. Great spot for the anglers. Very capable and accomodating staff.
