Spirit of Ripley RV Campground

The campground is very well maintained and clean! All of their sites are spacious and big rig friendly! I do however wish that they offered some sites as in-person or over the phone booking only. We unfortunately had to move our camper during our stay because someone had booked the site online. I have been to a few campgrounds like this and it is not super fun to move after being set up for a week to a site that is 20 feet away. The management is SUPER kind and helpful! I do however wish they we didn’t have to move sites halfway through our stay. Especially when in my mind it would make more sense for the person who booked online to just take the other site since they’re also rate hooked up to their truck and not fully set up.

Stayed for two weeks, very clean and friendly grounds! Nice setting with a lake right across the street with a park and dock. Ill be back when im in the area again!

We had the pleasure of staying at Spirit of Ripley Campground twice this summer—over Memorial Day weekend and again for the Fourth of July—and both visits were absolutely fantastic!
The campground offers spacious, level full-hookup sites with water, sewer, and electric, and every site includes a picnic table and fire ring, making it easy to settle in and relax. It's in a beautiful location near Lake Ripley, and the campground is clean, peaceful, and well maintained.
What truly makes this campground special, though, is the wonderful family running it. The new owners have created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like more than just another camper. Their three daughters are always helping around the campground with smiles on their faces, and it's clear this is a true family operation built on kindness and hospitality.
Our Fourth of July stay was especially memorable. The family surprised all of the guests with a free root beer float stand, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a fun way to bring everyone together. It's little touches like that that turn a camping trip into lasting memories.
If you're looking for a campground with great amenities, a family-friendly atmosphere, and owners who genuinely care about their guests, Spirit of Ripley Campground is the place to stay. We can't wait to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Litchfield area!

Spirit of Ripley is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at! The nights were quiet with very friendly fellow campers. Wood on site to purchase was such a nice option! We stayed with our two kids who are 10 and 12 years old. They loved the option of being able to fish off the dock across the street, lake Ripley had the most beautiful beach and splash pad across from the campground. The biking and walking path is such a nice paved trail to enjoy. The fire pits were very nice too. We can’t wait to return to Spirit of Ripley again this is our new favorite spot!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The campground was very clean and well kept. The online check in and confirmation made things so easy. No stops needed to get checked in. I had a question the day of and the owner got back to me quickly. Excited to book our next trip!
