What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Lake is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and a variety of activities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The large, quiet sites and beautiful surroundings enhance the camping experience, while the convenient access to boating and swimming is a significant plus. Some visitors noted issues with campsite proximity and minor facility improvements, but the overall atmosphere is inviting and enjoyable.

Rangers are very friendly and helpful. Shower house on South entrance is nice, clean and a bonus is laundry facilities. Many people were out enjoying the beach since it was 90+ degrees out. Sites on North entrance are large and level with lots of green space between them. It would be nice if a shower house could be added to the North entrance. The shower house is available for both and north sides but the people camping on the north entrance needs to drive all the way around since the bridge is only open to foot trafffic.

Beautiful campground. Ranger was helpful. I was in the North campground which needs shower and dump station improvements.

Great campground. Stayed at the North Loop Group site. Very nice site, private, with a nice breeze that blew through keeping bugs at a minimum. Nice to have boat slips available! Would recommend!

This is a very clean campground. The beach is nice as are.the playgrounds. We camped on the
side with water and found those sites quite small and close together with very little privacy. There are docks available to tie up boats
