What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Lake is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly staff, and a variety of activities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The large, quiet sites and beautiful surroundings enhance the camping experience, while the convenient access to boating and swimming is a significant plus. Some visitors noted issues with campsite proximity and minor facility improvements, but the overall atmosphere is inviting and enjoyable.

Please give an address or better directions on the website especially explaining that north and south do not connect (without going on highway).
No tv reception at all.

Since they closed for the season Oct 15 you would have thought they would leave the dump station open til season end. Signage indicate site number locations for north and south units was not at entrances causing confusion.

Nice well maintained park. Very Quiet. We camped with a 25 ft. travel trailer.

The sites were spacious, the facility clean, the play areas looked fun. The comfort station was modern, including running water, showers, and a laundry facility.
The employees and volunteers were doing a wonderful job of getting the campgrounds ready for a busy season.
We look forward to future visits.

Areas flooded but still my favorite park. Discovered eagle's nest in park and photographed them.

The campground itself is in good shape but the docks at the North campground where a mess. I think it's time to invest some money and replace them. Campground hosts where very nice and friendly as well.

Love the campground but the pictuire of the site we were on was very misleading. We camp with our dogs we need shade for their air conditioners to work correctly. that was basically a solar lot.
Alos, people should have been warned about the big white pine in site 29 having an eagle nesting. We got dumped on andf other not so nice stuff dropped on us. I was afriad to let my little 4 lb Yorkie out for fear of the eagle being hungry.
'll just have to remember the sites that I liked best.

Overall good campsite. Very cramped, but facilities are clean, well maintained. Path was 8 ft from this campsite, ground was not very even, and neighbors were not keeping to quiet hours. Fire pit was also right next to power hookup which was weird. View was great from the campsite and docks/beach were excellent.
