We had a lovely stay at Stony Point, in large part because Tammy and Wayne were so kind and helpful. When we arrived we asked if there was any way to get a different site closer to the lake and Tammy helped to make that happen with a recent cancellation. The place is peaceful and beautiful, facilities were clean and Tammy was just so, so helpful!

We love Stony Point! It has the perfect setting, lots of beautiful trees next to a breathtaking lake. The little beach areas give the special feeling that they are there just for you! The water is absolutely beautiful! We appreciate the facilities of the bathrooms and showers at Stony Point. We had an incredible host this year, despite the reduced Chippewa National Forest staff, they worked very hard at keeping things clean and going especially after the delays and challenges in getting Stony Point opened for camping. We love the experience there so very much, it's one of our favorite times of the year and we were sad to leave it, can't imagine camping anywhere else!

Would go again! Loved being by the water. Our campsite was about 20 ft from Leech Lake and had a small beach area where we parked our chairs and relaxed. Seemed as is we were transported to an island paradise! PS Wear bug repellent!! There’s also a grass and beach area open to all campers.

Electric available at your site. Sewer hookup/ water available at a location near the middle of the campground and is well maintained.
