What Guests Are Saying
South Abutment Campground is praised for its clean, well-maintained sites, peaceful atmosphere, and quiet surroundings, making it an ideal getaway for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, paved sites with full hookups, and the area's natural beauty, despite some concerns about low water levels in the lake. However, issues such as occasional power outages, outdated bathroom facilities, and a lack of staff presence have been noted.

It was quiet and peaceful. People kept to themselves but weren’t rude. TMobile had two bars. I really enjoyed it.

Overall a very nice campground. I would recommend it. Met many nice people. Never saw the host. Fire pit was full, would have been nice if the sand had been blown off the drive.

Had much difficulty getting into spot. This area of south abutment is tight. rvrs bunched together like sardines. The turn around at end of road was almost impossible for my rv. They need to cut down the tree in the circle so people dont hit it. These are large wide turn vehicles. Need more space.and they should pave wider cause many mud holes where people turn on grass cause the road is small and narrow. Also got stuck trying to back in cause the angle was too perpendicular to road and the road too narrow. Road into campsite is narrow. Has room for one car or truck only.
