What Guests Are Saying
South Abutment Campground is praised for its clean, well-maintained sites, peaceful atmosphere, and quiet surroundings, making it an ideal getaway for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, paved sites with full hookups, and the area's natural beauty, despite some concerns about low water levels in the lake. However, issues such as occasional power outages, outdated bathroom facilities, and a lack of staff presence have been noted.

There was a large party of tent campers that partied into the wee hours of the morning.

We really enjoy this park. The grounds are kept up and the layout is well done. The two downsides that I see are that both times we stayed the power went out for several hours and the road into the dump station is extremely rough.

Overall, the campground is nice. Several lake front sights and most have extra room to park a boat.

Site was level but grass needed cut and a tent was left on site with personal belongings.
