Long-term repairs to Arkbabutla Dam must be completed before water levels can return to normal. This affects boating access and water-based activities on the lake. Many boat ramps are currently closed with Hwy. 51 Landing being the only open ramp. Most day use and campground facilities remain open for public use. Beautiful and spacious! Concrete Pads and picnic table. Loved the security light at each electric box. Restrooms were clean, shower water was hot with good pressure. We stayed on site #19. The pad was level, the site was on a hill. We didn't mind, enjoyed the wide open lake views, but some may have trouble accessing the picnic table and grill as it was a fairly steep incline. The dumpsters were overflowing with trash around them when we were there. Stayed 2 nights and still not emptied. No one at gate house while we were there and beach area was closed. October 2020. Class B Camper Van. Only about 20-25 minutes from the Casinos in Tunica.

Great lake for fishing or water sports. Even on holiday weekend lake has almost no traffic. Good trails for hiking, running and mountain biking close to camp sites. Many sites overlook lake allowing easy access for paddle boarding or canyoning. We camp here a few times a year and it never disappoints.

First, upon arrival we were unable to locate the park host. We had to change sites and were unable to find help so we finally just booked another site online. When we got settled a stray pit bull appeared. We have two dogs of our own so we once again went around the park in search of assistance but found no one. The pit bull saga continued the next day, the unwanted dog wouldn’t go away and the park host was nowhere to be found..... meanwhile my dogs were prisoners inside our RV. The dumpster area was is disarray with trash all over and there were several sites that had residents who appeared to have made this park their home. The surrounding area and park was beautiful but severely lacked supervision and made our experience not good. We will not return to this park.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- A Coast Guard approved personal flotation device (PFD) is required on Arkabutla Lake for certain activities, with specific rules based on vessel length.
