What Guests Are Saying
South Abutment Campground is praised for its clean, well-maintained sites, peaceful atmosphere, and quiet surroundings, making it an ideal getaway for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, paved sites with full hookups, and the area's natural beauty, despite some concerns about low water levels in the lake. However, issues such as occasional power outages, outdated bathroom facilities, and a lack of staff presence have been noted.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay here. This has become our most favorite place to stay of all the places we've ever been. We would go here over and over again. As a note, there is electricity and water but no sewer so prepare for that. Shower houses were wonderful as well.

Very nice level sites. There was enough room between sites where privacy was not an issue. Just wish they were full hook up sites. No sewer connections. We will probably be back as it’s a short hop from home for a quick weekend.
