This place needs an update all the way around, laundry was out of service the whole 2 weeks we were there , the grounds need mowing and weed eating…that was ridiculous…. Then the bathouse was disgusting!!! Besides all the above I enjoyed the peace and quiet!!

I’ve camped here on Memorial Day weekend for years and always enjoyed how well the grounds was kept, however this past Memorial Day weekend was different. The grass looked as though it had not been cut all season. Fallen trees and trees had not been taken care of. Very disappointing based on the past years. Not sure why it was in that shape.

We have stayed at this campground at least two times a year for over 20 years and it has always been maintained very good. We were there Memorial Day 2024 and it was awful. The grass had not been mowed since last year. Limbs were everywhere. Some campers had a weedeater to clear their site. I have reservations for Labor day and I will cancel. The roadways will need to be bushhogged at this point.

The RV sites are large, plenty of room, right on the lake, beautiful tall trees. The only thing wrong is that there are no trails to wall or hike.
