Clean bathrooms, great area for walking and biking. We were in site 20 which was perfect. Nice, quiet, and clean.

Very nice water front site. Busy on the weekend but not many campers through the week.

Love to camp at Twiltley Branch and it's always clean and friendly host!
Only problem is, we don't live close enough to get a site easily!!

Great location and I was able to extend my stay just by going to the gate.

Wonderful staff that called us to confirm when we were arriving and gave us great directions to the campground. They stated many GPSs were inaccurate on getting us to the campground and they didn’t want any bigger rigs to have to back up.

Great campground. Nice sized sites. Great view from my campsite. Liked the fact I was able to extend my stay and do it right at the gate house.

Campground is not being maintained much. Campsite had previous campers garbage in fire ring. Pit toilets were never cleaned for 4 days. Bathhouse had broken fixtures and was only cleaned 1x in 4 days. Hosts were nice. Unfortunate condition as the location is nice and it could have been a better experience.

Very friendly and helpful lady at the gate. Advised a protected site due to tornado warning.

This was the first Army Corps of Engineers campground I’ve ever stayed at, and I gotta say, it was very nice. The sites were nicely sized and from what I could tell, most all the site looked to be fairly level. Being close to the lake was nice and there were a number of sites that were right on the lake. Why I didn’t reserve one of those sites remains a mystery to me, oh well. My only somewhat negative comment is the bathhouse was mighty small for a campground of this size. It didn’t matter during my visit since the place was nearly empty, but during busy times, ouch. Plus, the bathrooms could use a major face lift as they are old, outdated and need modernizing. Over all a very nice campground and if ever in the area again, I would definitely go back.
