Nice park, did not get a good, site 27. Camped May 1 2022. Mosquitoes were super bad. We were given a site right next to a stagnate pool of water next to the lake. They really need to spray for the mosquitoes. The site was level and had electric and water. It was a 1 night stay while traveling. The park was nice. We did not use restrooms so I can not comment on them.

The camp host was an angel and suggested restaurants in town. Great park, lots of room in your space and on the water.

Natural setting. Plenty of shade for all on the Loblolly loop. Nice folks at the gate house and the man who cleans the bath house is a really friendly, nice guy with an upbeat sense of humor. Sites were a little crowded, that due to the lay of the land available to work with, I think. As always, we love what the COE does for recreation for people. But if you like crowded campgrounds with zero shade near big highways you may not like this. But perfect for us.

Couldn't get into original site (12)because of trees, but located me to another site (9)that was easy. Had a great view of the lake, very nice park, quiet. Camper in 34' T T late April. Would stay there again.
