The location was great and the site was beautiful! Right on the lake!! We had eagles fly over each day. Sites were large and very well laid out. We were traveling thru and enjoyed the short 2 night stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The lake views from our site were hard to beat. This is a great park for anyone who enjoys getting out on the water, but not swimming since there are signs about alligators in the lake. I was able to work easily with our AT&T service. I had download speeds of 87 and upload of 17 mbps. There were no trash containers in the campsite area which required a drive to the parks dumpsters to get rid of our trash. The toilets were pit toilets in the campsite area. They were clean. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed nearly 2 weeks in November on a pull thru site. We made reservations here because they have a laundry room, only to find out it’s closed and we couldn’t use it. Very disappointed, especially when the camp hosts could use it. Pros: huge campground for biking, we put on a lot of miles. Most sites were quite large and the water views were awesome. Free firewood everywhere due to all the downed trees. Still plenty of shade tho. Shower/bath house was nice. During the week it was clean. Cons: weekends bathroom was not clean. We were here over Thanksgiving and were expecting a quiet holiday weekend. It was nearly full with locals. Very large party on a buddy site across from us that were loud til at least 3am the whole weekend. Also numerous campers brought campers in the week of Thanksgiving and left just so they would have a site. The camp hosts are at the entrance coming into the park and are very far away from campers, so no rules are enforced. Narrow roads and you can see some trees have been hit. Satellite dishes might be a problem at many sites. Way to much traffic in and out with all the locals coming and going.

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
