Reservations online are easy and effective. Check-in is easy and efficient The campsites are clean and well maintained. Roads are good and trees are clear of the rigs. Fire rings and BBQ grills are provided at the campsite. The staff and hosts are friendly. In general, a great place to camp. We just recently left there (and the only downside we might mention are the mosquitoes. Take some Off for protection.

Very nice gate attendants, sites were well spaced and great water views. You can hear the AFB jets during the daytime. Close to Columbus for everything you might need.

I would like to see more play grounds for the kids . We been going there for years and a lot of the playgrounds was removed. Also, clean out the boat landing inside the camp ground . Dewayne Hayes is an excellent place to camp.

Always a well kept facility. Hosts are excellent.
If you love “Airplane Noise”, the Air Force Base next door will meet your needs.

Nice campground especially off season when it's not crowded. Some of the best camp hosts and cleaning crew too. It rains a lot here, but when it doesn't it's nice. Close to Columbus AFB (BX & Commissary) and Columbus itself. Only downside barge noise and planes from the base all the time.
