What great people, in the week we spent there we were always greeted politely and two of the hosts even helped me replace the windshield wipers! I am a single mom who traveled out to Columbus MS with a daughter and her mother. We enjoyed the park, trails and always felt safe while there. Restrooms were always clean and grounds maintained. We hope to return here in a few months.

Outstanding host, A+ on the cleanliness of the restrooms. The grounds are very nice and freshly manicured. The lots are spacious, and well marked. Great place to bring the family.

The park was pretty clean and cared for. However, I’m not sure how they got into the park but there was a man and a woman roaming the park. They were at the campsite next to mine just in their car. I had to leave and it made me VERY nervous. And….the very worst experience was the ride gate attendant. He talk down to me in a very condescending way. True smart aleck!! I don’t think we will be back.

Our trip to Dewayne Hayes Campground was awesome. The campground host are very friendly and helpful. The campsites very clean and well maintained. After a couple days of camping, we discovered our hot water heater was not heating. We got a new heating element, but not the right tools. But one of the campground host that was making his rounds saw my husband working on it and stopped to offer his help and his tools. Thanks to his kindness and help, we had hot water again. In my opinion, he went above and beyond what his job required him to do. We have stayed at many other campgrounds in the past, but not many were this quiet, clean and friendly. We will be making this a regular place to visit.
