A very well maintained park with beautiful, scenic views
of the lake and forest. R,v. sites are very wide and level with full hook- ups.

This campground is east to locate. The pads are level and can handle any size RV. They also can handle boat trailers. The camp host are friendly. Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained.

We love Persimmon Hill and camp in our motorhome frequently. Only downside is that I believe they have lost control and given up on controlling the fire ant population around the sites. It is a major task and fortunately if folks leave them alone, they will leave you alone. This visit was our first in site 72. Beautiful views and windy. Also our first visit to share our site with a yellow jacket nest at the base of a tree. We will always go back.

Forever our favorite! Well kept and very clean bathrooms. Camp host R and L are wonderful folks that truly take the time to help if needed. Very large concrete pads with full hook-ups. A must stay if ever in the area or passing thru and only minutes away from I-55 Hwy.

We always enjoy our stay here. Never experienced a bad stay so far. Very relaxed, peaceful and friendly people, in my opinion. We usually reserve sites 1-10. They are not on the water’s edge and have a little more privacy. Our preference. The tall pines makes it somewhat difficult to get a strong signal for satellite tv connections but a decent coverage for phone service. It acceptable for us. Great weekend get away area.
