What Guests Are Saying
Whitten Park is a well-kept, beautiful campground located along the Tennessee-Tombigbee River, offering clean facilities and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the spacious, level sites, scenic views, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great getaway. Some amenities, like the bathrooms and trails, could use updates, but overall, guests enjoy their stays and express a desire to return.

Short trip from Nashville along Natchez Trace! Our campsite was gorgeous near the water! Perfect way to spend our anniversary together with to furbabies! Weather was amazing!
Verizon Cell service and internet was 4 to 5 bars!

This is another one of the Tennessee/Tombigbee COE campgrounds that we have enjoyed. We had a good level concrete site on the banks of the lake/river. There are several fishing piers available. An attendant is at the Entrance gate only during the hours of 7-8, 5-6 and 7-8 so plan on having your own park map to find your site. Bath houses were clean and camp grounds were quiet and fairly well maintained. No sewer hookups for most sites. We will plan to visit the Whitten Historical Center, located on the grounds near the entrance, on our next visit.
