Whitten park is nice and peaceful! We never have issues when staying here. The park managers are super sweet and will sit and talk. They resolve any issues that we may have!

Very nice campground that is well maintained. Check-in and check-out was flawless and very quick. Will be visiting this campground again

Park was great. Recreation.gov not so. Have been trying to make reservations for days for Whitten Park and I am well within the 180 days but unable to reserve

We were there for just one night on our way home. It was easy to get to off the interstate. we arrived a little after hours but the attendant showed up and check in was easy.

From Interstate 22 , take Highway 25 (exit 104). Then turn left at the first red light, then turn left onto Access Road at the next traffic
light. Go north 4 miles. Campground is on the left side of the road
within the Jamie L. Whitten Historical Center Park.
