What Guests Are Saying
Whitten Park is a well-kept, beautiful campground located along the Tennessee-Tombigbee River, offering clean facilities and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the spacious, level sites, scenic views, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great getaway. Some amenities, like the bathrooms and trails, could use updates, but overall, guests enjoy their stays and express a desire to return.

Our original reservation was Site 30. When we arrived we found work had been done on the water main, at the entrance to the site, and our pad had about an inch of dirt that had been washed into it. With rain predicted, we asked to be moved to a different site. It cost us $12.00 to do the move. The park is in bad need of some general landscaping love. It could, and according to the locals, used to be a very nice park. I hate to see such beautiful places deteriorate like Whitten Park is. Will we be back? Absolutely! Whitten Park is quiet, clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
